Dr. Saloua’s Mission
Dr. Saloua Belboukhaddaoui completed her basic medical training at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam in 2015. She believes in a holistic approach, in which all aspects of a person’s lifestyle are analyzed in order to achieve a radiant result. After her graduation, Saloua specialized as a cosmetic physician and gained several years of work experience in her field. In 2017, she founded Amsterdam Cosmetic Clinic after spending some time working as a self-employed professional. At the beginning it was just her, but it didn’t take long for her company to grow. She now has an enthusiastic team of professionals at her side.
Dr. Saloua attaches great importance to keeping her knowledge up to date and to the continued development of herself and the clinic. As such, she regularly attends conferences and training courses both in the Netherlands and abroad. Her team also completes regular refresher courses, and the staffroom is full of specialist literature. This means Saloua and her team can bring out the best in you, all the while ensuring a natural result.

For Saloua, forging long-term relationships with her customers is essential. She believes in the importance of keeping your skin beautiful early on, as you will reap the benefits later in life. In addition to exercise and a healthy diet, proper skin maintenance is essential. Dr. Saloua has a clear vision on this: Vanity isn’t a sin, but an innate quality that helps us to stay healthy. After all, your skin is a reflection of your health.
Regular Maintenance for Healthy Skin
Make sure that you take good care of your skin yourself and that you undergo regular treatments to keep your skin in tip-top condition. Treatments can be divided into different periods.
- Daily: Use good home skin care products – products with an effective percentage of active ingredients, i.e. cosmeceuticals (daily cleaning, apply antioxidants, and SPF every morning)
- Monthly: Treatments to cleanse and exfoliate the skin (HydraFacial, Image facial) and to tackle certain skin problems (Dermapen)
- Every quarter: Peels, laser facial, and botox
- Every six months to a year: Small filler touch-ups for the lips, cheekbones, and nose
- Annually: Touch-ups for semi-permanent make-up, start with new fillers, laser hair removal touch-ups, intensive peels)
