Pre-care and aftercare for PMU

In order to achieve the best and safest results with semi-permanent make-up, we have strict pre- and aftercare instructions. These instructions have been approved by the government and the Municipal Health Service (GGD). It is important that you follow these instructions carefully.

Risks of semi-permanent make-up

Semi-permanent make-up involves risks, so you must ensure that you are well rested and have eaten enough before you undergo the treatment. Inform the PMU expert if you use medication or have skin problems, allergies, epilepsy, and hypersensitivity reactions. We have a Municipal Health Service (GGD) license, which means we are a safe PMU studio. This license is only granted to studios and clinics that operate according to strict government hygiene guidelines.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”30px”][/mkdf_elements_holder_item][/mkdf_elements_holder][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner offset=”vc_col-md-6″][mkdf_elements_holder holder_full_height=”no” number_of_columns=”one-column” switch_to_one_column=”” alignment_one_column=””][mkdf_elements_holder_item background-image-animation=”” item_padding=”0x 35px 0 6px” item_padding_1367_1600=”30px 35px 0 6px” item_padding_1025_1366=”0px 35px 0 6px” item_padding_681_768=”55px 30px 0 0px” item_padding_680=”55px 30px 0 0px” item_padding_769_1024=”0px 0px 0 0px” item_padding_1025_1399=”0px 0px 0 6px”][vc_column_text]

Aftercare

New semi-permanent make-up is very much like a graze. Poor care and inadequate hygiene practices during treatment can lead to infections in the wound and the development of scar tissue. Wound infections can also lead to less beautiful PMU results. If you take good care of the PMU, the treated skin will take two to six weeks to heal. After the treatment, we also provide you with clear aftercare instructions which you should read and follow carefully in order to achieve the best possible result.

For an optimal result, you should adhere to the following instructions in the first six weeks after the treatment:

The treated skin will remain very sensitive to sunlight even after it has recovered. Always apply sun protection with at least SPF 30 to your PMU.

Attention: Contact your doctor in the event of extreme redness, swelling, bleeding, wound fluid, color change, or chronic pain.
