COSMETIC CLINIC
More like yourself.
From within.
Sculptra for the face in Amsterdam: stimulate your own collagen to improve skin quality, gradually restore volume and achieve a lifting effect. With a personalised plan for your face and, where appropriate, your neck and décolletage.
Your life changes. So do your wishes. Whether you are noticing the first changes in your skin or would like to restore lost firmness and volume, you want to feel well cared for, attractive and entirely yourself.

A personalised treatment course
One session may be enough for a modest treatment goal. To build results more substantially, a course usually consists of two to three sessions, generally at least six weeks apart at ACC. We then assess together whether and when maintenance would be helpful.
Results that develop gradually
The initial swelling subsides. Collagen formation and changes in skin quality and support then develop gradually over weeks to months. We monitor your results with photographs.
Aftercare that supports your treatment
Massage is part of aftercare: usually five minutes, five times a day, for five days. Your doctor will show you how to massage the treated area and advise you on exercise, heat and recovery.
Living life to the full. Feeling good in your skin.
A new step in your career. More time for yourself as your children grow older. Enjoying life with family, friends or grandchildren. You want your appearance to reflect how energetic and confident you feel inside.
With early signs of skin ageing, skin quality may be the main focus. More noticeable volume loss or skin laxity may call for a more substantial course of treatment. Your skin and your goals guide the plan, rather than your age.
Fresh and confident
You want to look well cared for and feel comfortable with your appearance. At work, over lunch with friends or in a spontaneous photograph.
Attractive in your own way
Feeling feminine and sexy because it makes you happy. In your favourite outfit, on an evening out or when you look in the mirror.
Time for yourself
You make a conscious choice for quality and personal advice. A clear plan that suits your skin and your stage of life, leaving room for everything you enjoy.
A fresh appearance, with your own character.
For hollow cheeks, volume loss at the temples or less firm skin, we assess the face as a whole. Sculptra allows us to work gradually on volume, skin quality and a lifting effect. The approach varies with each face and stage of life.
Skin quality. Volume. Lift.
Three possibilities, one personalised plan. We tailor the amount of product and the treatment areas to what your face needs.
Firmer, radiant skin
Stimulating collagen and elastin supports the skin's structure. This may improve firmness, elasticity and a fresh glow.
Explore skin qualityBuilding your own volume
Hollow cheeks or temples can make a face look tired. By building results gradually, we work towards softer transitions and renewed support.
Explore volume restorationA lifting effect
A volumising lift combines rebuilding with support. A slimming lift focuses on a more defined-looking contour, with targeted placement rather than seeking extra fullness everywhere.

Work on your skin's
foundation.
Collagen is a protein that gives your skin firmness and support. Think of it as a fine network supporting your skin from within. This network diminishes over the years.
Sculptra contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA): biodegradable particles that stimulate the production of your own collagen. Together with elastin, this contributes to firmness, elasticity and support.
There is also a naturally occurring thin layer of fatty tissue beneath your skin. In the right places, it helps support your skin and gives your face soft, youthful contours. Early research suggests that Sculptra may also have beneficial effects on these supporting fat cells. This does not automatically mean a fuller face: we tailor treatment to the support, skin quality and volume you need. These research findings are still being investigated.

More support, fresher-looking skin or a lifting effect: explore examples for different treatment goals.
Restore softness to your face.
For volume loss, we gradually build support. The aim is a face that looks less hollow and reflects the energy you feel.

Volumising lift: rebuilding and support.
A filling lift combines volume restoration with a lifting effect. Your doctor considers how the temples, cheeks and facial contour relate to one another.

Definition, while maintaining balance.
With a slimming lift, we focus on support and a more defined-looking contour, without aiming for extra fullness everywhere. This is not a fat-dissolving treatment; your anatomy determines whether this approach is suitable.

More attention to your skin itself.
Even when extra volume is not your main goal, treatment can focus on improving skin quality: skin that looks firmer, more supple and more radiant.

Care for the skin
below your face, too.
An open blouse or a dress with a beautiful neckline: you want to feel comfortable in what you wear. Lines and less firm skin on the décolletage can matter just as much as changes in your face.
Décolletage: skin quality and firmness
Where clinically appropriate, Sculptra can be used to improve skin quality and laxity on the décolletage. The amount of product and treatment course are determined separately for this area.
Neck: a focused assessment first
For the neck, we carefully assess skin thickness, laxity and your treatment goal. The neck does not automatically fall under the same product indication as the décolletage. Your doctor will discuss whether Sculptra or another treatment is appropriate and explain any use outside the approved indication.

Considering face, neck and décolletage together
A fresher appearance does not stop at the jawline. If lines, thinner skin or laxity below your face concern you, we include them in your consultation. We choose an appropriate approach for each area; the treatment plan and number of vials may differ by area.
Build gradually.
Or combine treatments selectively.
Would you like to restore volume gradually with Sculptra? We can plan a course of treatment. If you would like more immediate visible volume in specific areas, a hyaluronic acid filler may complement it.
Where appropriate, your doctor may use both during the same appointment in carefully selected areas. We discuss what you can expect straight away and what will develop later.
More about hyaluronic acid fillersYour skin works at its own pace.
Immediately after treatment, the area may look fuller because of the injected fluid and swelling. As these subside, it can sometimes seem as though little has changed.
Tissue formation takes time. Improvement may already be visible after one session; more pronounced volume loss or laxity often requires several sessions. We assess progress through photographs and follow-up appointments.
A plan that evolves with you.
Maintaining your skin should feel manageable. We discuss the entire course so you know what to expect.
Take time to discuss
We listen to your wishes and assess your skin, volume and facial proportions. You receive advice on suitability, costs and alternatives.
Build gradually
We often plan two to three sessions. At ACC, we generally allow at least six weeks between sessions, and longer where appropriate. This gives results time to develop and allows us to assess carefully what is still needed.
Maintain thoughtfully
We monitor your results and discuss when maintenance would be helpful. The effect may last up to around two years; your skin and treatment plan influence how it develops.

Clear explanations, grounded in evidence.
Sculptra is an injectable containing biodegradable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which stimulates gradual tissue formation. Research findings describe groups of patients; they cannot predict your exact individual result.
Our explanations draw on sources including the European product information for Sculptra and Galderma's patient information. The treatment intervals on this page describe ACC's approach.
How much does Sculptra for the face cost?
Facial treatment costs €750 to €1,250 per session. The total cost of your course depends on the number of vials per appointment and the number of sessions. For the face, we usually use one to two vials per session.
| Amount per treatment | Price |
|---|---|
| 1 vial | €750 |
| 2 vials | €1,250 |
A treatment course consists of one to three sessions. For a more substantial build-up, we recommend an average of two to three sessions; one session may be enough for a modest treatment goal.
Example: at two vials per session, two sessions cost €2,500 in total and three sessions cost €3,750. These are pricing examples, not a standard recommendation. We prepare a separate treatment plan for the neck and décolletage.
During your consultation, we discuss the amount per appointment, the expected number of sessions and the total cost in advance.
Your questions, clearly answered.
Is Sculptra the same as a filler?
Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable based on poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). Unlike a hyaluronic acid filler, its result develops gradually through your own tissue response. It can be an alternative for suitable cases of volume loss, but does not replace every filler treatment.
Can I combine Sculptra with fillers?
Yes, if your doctor considers this appropriate. A filler can provide volume sooner in targeted areas, while Sculptra works gradually on skin structure and support. Sometimes both can be used during the same appointment. The products and their placement are carefully coordinated.
Can Sculptra provide a lifting effect without making my face fuller?
The treatment plan can focus more on skin quality and support than on additional volume. We choose the areas and amount of product according to your anatomy. A slimming lift describes a more defined-looking contour through support; it is not a fat-dissolving treatment.
Will I see results after one treatment?
You may. Initial improvement can become visible from around one month and continues to develop. How much you see after one session varies. More pronounced volume loss or laxity often requires a course of treatment; the initial effect alone does not determine the final result.
How many sessions will I need?
A course consists of one to three sessions. For a more substantial build-up, we usually recommend two to three sessions, generally at least six weeks apart at ACC. For younger skin or modest treatment goals, one session may be enough, followed by reassessment after a year, for example. Your treatment goal and tissue response matter more than age alone.
Why can the effect seem to disappear shortly after treatment?
The initial fullness is partly due to fluid and swelling. This subsides before the gradual tissue formation becomes clearly visible. This temporary difference does not automatically mean that treatment is not working. If the result is limited, we review the time elapsed, photographs and next steps in your treatment plan together.
How long do Sculptra results remain visible?
The PLLA particles are biodegradable and are gradually broken down by your body. The tissue formation they stimulate can last longer than the product itself remains present. Facial results may remain visible for around two years or longer. Your own collagen also renews and ages; we discuss maintenance individually.
Completing a course does not automatically mean you need another full course every year. Maintenance may be helpful after a year, for example, or only after two years. We base this on your skin, results and wishes, and may gradually extend the intervals.
Maintenance can also start earlier, for example after around a year, using fewer vials than the initial course. We assess what you would like to maintain and what is still needed; maintenance does not automatically mean repeating the full course.
What are the side effects and risks of Sculptra?
Swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising can occur. Swelling often lasts a few days; other reactions may persist longer. Lumps may also develop, sometimes at a later stage. Rare serious complications include infection and blockage of a blood vessel, which can cause tissue damage or vision problems. Your doctor will discuss the risks and explain when to contact us.
What aftercare is important?
Massage is an important part of aftercare: usually 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. You will receive instructions for your treatment area. Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds until swelling and redness have resolved, and follow your personalised advice on exercise, heat and skincare.
Is Sculptra suitable for me?
Your doctor assesses your skin, medical history, medication and previous treatments. We do not treat during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if you have an active skin infection. A tendency to develop raised scars is also relevant. We do not use Sculptra as a lip or tear-trough filler.
What does Sculptra for the face cost?
Facial treatment costs €750 for one vial and €1,250 for two vials per session. We usually use one to two vials per session. A course consists of one to three sessions, with an average of two to three for a more substantial build-up. At two vials per session, two sessions cost €2,500 in total and three sessions cost €3,750. You receive a personalised quote in advance.
How does it differ from Lanluma?
At ACC, we previously worked with Lanluma. We now use Sculptra. Both are PLLA-based collagen-stimulating injectables, but they are different products with their own formulations and treatment protocols. Tell your doctor which treatments you have had before.
What is the difference between Sculptra and Radiesse?
They are different collagen-stimulating injectables. Sculptra contains PLLA and builds results gradually. Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite and has a different composition and application. We recommend what suits your skin and treatment goal.
Is there a current Sculptra offer?
Any current Sculptra offer can be found in the main menu under Price List → Offers. The terms and validity period are listed there. Our regular prices are shown above on this page.
How many vials of Sculptra are needed?
Facial treatment can start from one vial. When noticeable volume restoration is needed, we often use two vials in a session; further sessions may follow. The amount depends on your anatomy, treatment areas and goal. During your consultation, we discuss the number of vials per appointment and the total cost.
