FROWNLINES

Do you have frown lines? And do people often think that you’re angry? We completely understand why you don’t like that! In addition to all the comments, a frown line can also cause discomfort, such as headaches. Fortunately, we have an effective solution to combat frown lines.

WHAT ARE FROWNLINES?

Do you often unconsciously pull your eyebrows together, for example, if you want to look get a good look at something or if the sun is particularly bright? Then frown lines may develop on your forehead and between your eyebrows. As you get older, your skin loses elasticity. This means that you can still clearly see those frown lines even when you relax your face muscles.

BOTOX TREATMENT AGAINST FROWNLINES IN AMSTERDAM

A botox treatment is an effective way to tackle frown lines. The cosmetic physician can reduce these lines using botox. Here at Amsterdam Cosmetic Clinic we use Bocouture® and Vistabel, the leading brands in botox. The botox is injected into the muscle group under the wrinkle using a small needle.

The protein in the muscle relaxer prevents muscle contraction, which results in a significant reduction or even the complete elimination of the frown line. Since the muscle is temporarily paralyzed, you will frown less. Your skin will become smoother again, resulting in a natural and younger look.

HOW LONG DOES THE EFFECT LAST?

On average, the effect of botox lasts for three to four months. After the treatment, it can take up to fourteen days before you see the optimal result. This is a gradual process. Once the botox has worn off you will be able to move the muscle again. It might even help you get out of the habit of frowning, resulting in a less visible wrinkle. And of course, you always have the option of a repeat treatment.
